POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for managing a team that provides commercial execution and operational support services to cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Medical, and other relevant stakeholders.

The scope includes:

  • Managing internal compliance and approval processes required for relevant commercial activities, in accordance with applicable policies, SOPs, and guidelines.
  • Managing the end-to-end content review and approval process for customer-facing activities through internal approval platforms.
  • Planning and executing meetings, events, and other brand activation activities.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with Marketing and Commercial team to ensure commercial activities requiring internal approval are well planned, submitted, and approved on time while strictly adhering to relevant policies, processes, and standards.
  • Support Commercial team in developing and managing timelines for content-related activities and coordinating the required review and approval processes through internal systems.
  • Manage brand activation activities end-to-end, including compliance coordination, logistics, payments, reporting, and other operational requirements. This may include internal and external meetings, speaker programs, conferences, congresses, and other engagement activities.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers and external service providers.
  • Monitor and manage event agency performance through structured and regular performance reviews.
  • Utilize data to provide visibility to stakeholders and support supplier management, including activity volume, spending, issue tracking, and reporting accuracy.
  • Support the implementation of supplier strategies and preferred supplier programs in alignment with local, regional, and global business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration on initiatives involving multiple functions across the organization.
  • Explore and support creative and cost-effective meeting solutions, including virtual or alternative engagement formats where appropriate.
  • Ensure all activities are executed in compliance with internal processes, policies, and relevant regulations.
  • Act as a key point of contact for relevant enabling functions and provide subject matter expertise for assigned initiatives.
  • Manage and resolve operational issues arising in the local market.
  • Manage local supplier relationships through structured supplier performance and relationship management programs.
  • Monitor relevant performance metrics and identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvement.
  • Share and implement best practices to continuously improve ways of working.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University degree in Economics, Social Sciences, Marketing, Event Management, Digital, or other relevant disciplines.
  • At least 8 years of experience in event management or brand activation. Candidates with experience in the pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industries will be highly preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in team management.
  • Proven creativity and the ability to develop engaging solutions while working within structured processes and compliance requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working with both external suppliers and internal stakeholders across functions such as Marketing, Sales, Commercial, Medical, or other business functions.
  • Ability to understand stakeholder needs, manage expectations, facilitate alignment, and drive decisions across cross-functional teams.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure, manage urgent requests, and maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Passionate about event and activation management, with the flexibility to support activities outside normal working hours when required.
  • Proven capability in integrated planning, cost optimization, and operational efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements and the ability to work effectively within a highly regulated environment.
