About the Role
The Corporate Communications Specialist is responsible for executing Schneider Electric Vietnam's corporate communications activities to strengthen the company's reputation, support business priorities, and foster employee engagement. The role manages internal and external communications initiatives while driving communications for the company's sustainability and corporate citizenship programs.
Key Responsibilities
External Communications (40%)
- Manage brand reputation on owned and earned media channels including digital channels and traditional media channels.
- Support to coordinate with media interviews, press events, and speaking opportunities.
- Monitor media coverage, industry trends, and competitor activities, providing regular insights and reports.
Internal Communications (30%)
- Plan and execute internal communication activities to keep employees informed and engaged.
- Develop content for internal newsletters, announcement, digital signage, and open lines.
- Support internal campaigns that reinforce Schneider Electric's culture, values, and business priorities.
- Collaborate with HR and business teams on employee engagement initiatives and internal events.
Community Impacts (20%)
- Develop communication plans and content for Schneider Electric's social impact, sustainability, and volunteer programs in Vietnam.
- Coordinate with NGOs for the execution of community engagement activities, partnerships, and corporate volunteering programs.
- Measure and report the communication impact of CSR initiatives.
Communications Operations (10%)
- Maintain communication calendars and project timelines.
- Coordinate translation, proofreading, and localization of regional communication materials.
- Track communication performance, including media coverage, employee engagement, and campaign effectiveness.
- Ensure all communication materials align with Schneider Electric's brand guidelines and corporate messaging.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
- Approximately 2-3 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, content marketing, or integrated communications.
- Experience in a multinational company is preferred.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in both Vietnamese and English.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing agencies and coordinating cross-functional projects.
