Position Summary
The HR Supervisor / HR Manager will be responsible for establishing and developing Company’s internal HR function and acting as the key HR partner to Management.
As the company continues to strengthen its organization and people capabilities, this role will oversee the full HR lifecycle, including talent acquisition, HR operations, compensation & benefits, employee relations, performance management, learning & development, and employee engagement.
The role will work closely with Managing Director and external HR service partners to ensure effective day-to-day HR operations while progressively building HR practices, policies and people initiatives aligned with Company’s business needs and growth direction.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Business Partnership & People Planning
- Partner closely with Managing Director and department leaders to understand business priorities, organization needs and people challenges.
- Provide practical HR advice on workforce planning, organization structure, talent needs, employee performance and people-related matters.
- Translate business requirements into appropriate HR priorities and initiatives.
- Support board management in developing the HR roadmap as the organization continues to grow.
2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Understand hiring needs and work with Hiring Managers to define appropriate candidate profiles and recruitment priorities.
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including workforce planning, sourcing strategy, selection, offer and onboarding.
- Develop talent pipelines for critical and recurring positions.
- Support employer branding and initiatives to strengthen Company’s attractiveness to relevant talent.
3. HR Operations, C&B & Compliance
- Oversee payroll, benefits, employment contracts, employee records, leave and other HR administration.
- Coordinate with external HR service providers and ensure service quality, accuracy and timely delivery.
- Ensure HR practices and documentation comply with Vietnamese labor regulations and company policies.
- Review and progressively improve HR processes, policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate HR data and provide relevant workforce reports to Management.
4. Performance, Learning & People Development
- Establish and/or enhance performance management practices aligned with business objectives.
- Work with managers to identify capability gaps and employee development needs.
- Develop and coordinate relevant training and development initiatives.
- Support managers in performance conversations, employee development and succession/talent discussions where applicable.
5. Employee Engagement & Culture
- Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related matters.
- Support employee relations and promote a positive, professional and collaborative working environment.
- Develop engagement and internal communication initiatives aligned with Company’s culture and values.
- Support Management in strengthening employee experience and retention.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably with broad exposure across HR Operations/C&B, Talent Acquisition and people-related functions.
- Solid knowledge of Vietnamese labor regulations and HR practices.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple HR areas and work directly with senior stakeholders.
- Strong business understanding and ability to translate business needs into practical HR solutions.
- Hands-on and comfortable working in an environment where HR processes and practices are still being developed.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
- Good command of English and Vietnamese.
- Experience in Travel, Hospitality, Services, Events or other customer-focused industries would be an advantage.
