Overview

The Trade Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of trade marketing initiatives to ensure excellent in-market execution. This role works closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, external agencies, and suppliers to deliver promotional activities, POSM deployment, shopper activation programs, and sales engagement initiatives effectively and on time.

Key Responsibilities

1. Promotion & Gift Management

  • Coordinate promotional gift production and logistics with Supply Chain and external vendors.
  • Monitor gift availability and inventory throughout promotional periods.
  • Align deployment plans with Sales teams to ensure timely execution.
  • Coordinate cross-functional timelines to ensure on-time and in-full (OTIF) delivery.

2. POSM Management & In-store Execution

  • Coordinate the production and distribution of POSM materials.
  • Work closely with suppliers to ensure timely production and delivery.
  • Monitor monthly POSM deployment across channels.
  • Support execution of in-store visibility initiatives according to marketing plans.

3. Trade Activation & Event Coordination

  • Support planning and execution of trade activations, product launches, roadshows, and promotional events.
  • Coordinate with external agencies and vendors to ensure smooth event execution.
  • Track project timelines and budgets to ensure activities are delivered effectively.

4. Trade Marketing Execution

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Shopper Marketing, and other cross-functional teams to execute category and seasonal campaigns.
  • Support the implementation of promotional programs, sampling activities, and in-store marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure execution quality across all assigned projects.

5. Sales Engagement Support

  • Coordinate internal sales briefings and training sessions.
  • Consolidate presentation materials and communication decks from multiple functions.
  • Support internal communication for promotional and trade activities.

6. Budget Management

  • Support monthly budget planning and tracking.
  • Monitor spending against approved budgets.
  • Assist in processing invoices and maintaining budget reports.

7. Other Responsibilities

  • Prepare reports and project updates as required.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the line manager.

Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.

Experience

  • 1–2 years of experience in Trade Marketing, Customer Marketing, Sales Operations, or Marketing Execution, preferably within the FMCG industry.

Skills

  • Good understanding of Trade Marketing and in-store execution.
  • Strong project coordination and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Experience working with external agencies and suppliers is an advantage.
