Job Description:

Investment Accounting

  • Monitor cash flow activities performed, raise payment requests, and follow up to ensure timely allocation of PH funds for investment deployment.
  • Prepare and maintain investment cash flow summary reports
  • Review investment-related transaction bookings in accounting ledger
  • Coordinate with IT, POS, and relevant stakeholders to resolve outstanding accounting entry issues and system errors in CAS, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
  • Perform reconciliations of holdings, cash balances, and sub-ledgers
  • Manage invoice filing, reconciliation, and off-site document archiving.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closing activities.
  • Process and monitor accounting entries that remain at the local ledger level.
  • Perform valuation unit-related accounting and reconciliation activities.


Product Accounting

  • Coordinate with internal teams and relevant stakeholders to investigate, track, and resolve operational or system errors in a timely manner
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for new products, including test execution, issue identification, and validation of business requirements.


Other ad-hoc reporting and tasks

  • Perform additional duties, projects, and ad hoc assignments as delegated by Manager.
  • Provide data and documentation support for Ministry of Finance (MOF) inspections and regulatory reviews.
  • Maintain and archive monthly, quarterly, and annual MOF reports in accordance with assigned templates and document retention requirements.
  • Liaise with internal departments to collect, validate, and consolidate data required for statutory, management, internal, and external reporting related to assigned function.

Candidate Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or related fields.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounting.
  • Experience in financial services, insurance, or investment-related industries is an advantage.

Professional Qualifications

  • Background in Accounting and/or Auditing.
  • Professional certifications are a plus.

Computer Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
