Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly reconciliation between local trial balance (TB) and IFRS financial reports to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Review and process all MIS journal entries (JEs), ensuring proper accounting treatment and compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Prepare and review monthly and quarterly Management Information System (MIS) reports.
  • Review and create new General Ledger (GL) accounts, Work Areas (WA), and Accounting Units (AU) as required.
  • Prepare, verify, and monitor reinsurance accounting entries and related payment transactions.
  • Conduct monthly reviews and reconciliations of sub-ledgers to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records.
  • Support financial reporting, accounting projects, and other ad hoc assignments as directed by the Financial Controller (FC) and Regional Office (RO).


Candidate Profile

Education / Training

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or related fields.

Professional / Trade Qualification

  • Background in Accounting and/or Auditing.

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Accounting.

Computer Proficiency

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
